Meet the Team
Stew Kirkwood is a recording and mixing engineer, producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Edmonton. His journey into recording and production began in his early teens, sparked by his passion for songwriting and musicianship.
What started as self-exploration soon evolved into recording and producing for other artists, leading him to work with musicians across all levels of the industry.
From independent artists and hobbyists to Grammy and Juno-winning musicians and major label signees, Stew brings a versatile and artist-focused approach to every project.
As a multi-instrumentalist, he possesses a deep understanding of musical communication, allowing him to connect with artists in their own creative language.
This unique skill helps him elevate performances and bring out the best in every musician he works with.As an engineer and producer, Stew is constantly pushing sonic boundaries, seeking to create recordings that are both visceral and emotionally compelling.
